Wiring a fan with light.

Connect the black and blue wires coming out of your fan. This will allow you to control your fan and lights with a single switch. Twist all the white wires in the box together and cap them. Attach the ceiling fan s light kit wiring to the wiring harness hanging beneath the fan motor.

Find the short green wire or the green ground screw on your ceiling fan hanging. Install the lamp globes and light. The blue wire is the hot wire for the ceiling fan light fixture. Connect the green copper wires together.
